The Wild Lens Co.
Our Story
The Wild Lens Co. started with me — a camera, a messy bun, muddy boots, and a love for the real stuff. I’m Suzi Thomson, a mom, a woman in the trades, and someone who’s always found beauty in the raw and imperfect. Photography has always been my outlet — a way to slow down and see the world for what it really is: wild, emotional, and full of soul.
Between raising my little boy and working in a tough industry, I’ve learned that life isn’t polished — it’s gritty, it’s honest, and it’s where the magic happens. That’s what The Wild Lens Co. is all about. I don’t chase perfect smiles or staged moments; I capture the in-between — the wind in your hair, the dirt on your boots, the laughter that slips out when no one’s looking.
My work has that moody edge because that’s life — light and dark, soft and strong. The Wild Lens Co. is my way of telling real stories, the kind that make you feel something. It’s where motherhood, hard work, and the wild side of life all come together through my lens.
What we do
Special Occasions
Life’s best moments deserve to be remembered just as they are — real, emotional, and full of heart. Whether it’s a birthday, engagement, or celebration in the mountains, my special occasion shoots capture the mood, the laughter, and the little details that make your story one of a kind. Moody, timeless, and beautifully you.
Candid
No posing, no pressure — just real moments. My candid shoots are all about capturing the genuine laughs, quiet glances, and raw connections that happen naturally. It’s the in-between moments that tell the best stories — moody, heartfelt, and beautifully real.
Trades
Built for the ones who work hard and get their hands dirty. My trades photoshoots capture the grit, pride, and realness behind the job — the sparks, the sweat, the stories in every detail. Raw, moody, and unfiltered — just honest work caught through my lens.
Outdoor Boudoir Sessions
Step into nature and embrace your wild side. My outdoor boudoir sessions are raw, moody, and empowering — capturing the beauty of confidence, freedom, and authenticity. It’s not about posing perfectly; it’s about feeling grounded, bold, and completely yourself in the wild.
